They get a lot worse as the die ages even more: This happened at lot on the 1950's wheat cents. They over used the dies and created a lot of strange looking coins. Not a premium for them thought. People snag them as "Poor Man's Doubled dies" and later realized, that if they paid a premium for these "So Called" doubled dies, then went they to sell them, they would be the "Poor Man." If you're not, I highly recommend doing so, since it will greatly cut down on your false positive rate. As for this coin, I'm not seeing much of anything but an ordinary circulated Wheat cent that looks nothing like any of the well known varieties for this date. Report this Post to the Staff
