1972-D Quarter Both Sides Double Rim. Finned Rim Error?

Note the 'S' on States. MD there. Looks like the bottoms of the devices on UNITED is also showing the same thing. Obverse is also showing Machine Doubling. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/13/2022 2:36 pm Usually the ones people save are the very thin fins that rise higher: Most of the time the thin ones get flatten during rolling. Making them into a normal coin. But you might want to save it as a show and tell to a new collector. Something to show that is easy to find, but the thin fins are more of a premium.
