From the way this doubling looks, it is raised, not machined, in the doubling area for the coin, and when I tilt the coin slightly, the doubling is perfectly matched under itself.

Sorry for the blurry tilted image, it was hard to capture, but I couldn't find this in the wexler listing. The hair, eyes, lips, and cheek all have the same thing going on.

@ssf, my first thought is that this shelf-like doubling is Machine Doubling, but I'm interested to see what others think.

With the devices being reduced and the shelf like doubling, I agree with Spence Machine Doubling.
