With that said, this most looks like a cent that has been purposefully squeezed between two others in order to simulate an error. We call these "vise-jobs". They are transferred from another coin in a vise that squeezed this coin and another one together make a mirrored image. Mirrored in what sense? The devices look like the actual die. These devices will be incuse on the transfer. The design will be also incuse (not raised on the coin) This was done after it reached circulation. The rim will leave an incuse mark from the other coin. So it was copied not from the die, but by another coin. So this is a damaged coin. If it were transferred from a die, then the devices would be raised and not mirrored like actual coin. Just spendable now. CoopHome: What does the term "Vise Squeezed Coin" mean?
