I tried to identify it, but to no success. The date is clearly 183-. Buy genuine coins, don't just assume everything is the rarity. Please please please do your research. This one is obvious.

Appreciate that jrcrispies trust me when I say I didn't set out to purchase this piece it actually came in a group of draped cents I purchased a while back. I actually just ran a cross it tonight and thought I would see if anyone might could identify it.

Also I'm pretty sure the date is 783 could be wrong on that but that date would match to the constellation coins. Oh and atop that side it actually says constellation I know it's hard to see but that's what it says.

How about diameter and weight - you know, the basics. The date is nowhere near the correct size and location to be a Nova Constellatio. I can't even think of any US copper coin with the purported date that far above the rim.

Nothing here resembles a Nova Constellatio. Might be a foreign coin or some kind of token. There were many varieties of hard times tokens in the 1830's, I'd start there.

Mr. Spencerj72 After 5 hours searching this informations what I got. Source of the image and descriptions belong to https://www.ancientcoinsandcollecti...t-33-low-19/Solo I will give some picture soon after working hour. And I believe it's not Pareidolia because what I build here connect each other, and we still have a clue. Date, star/flower and some letter, and of course the material (i guess it's bronze). Although I don't have information about the diameter and weight. I just try to search what coins was made in 1837 with bronze material. i'll post the image soon. Maybe about 14 image so anyone here may give their advice too. Have a nice day.

Here's the other Tortoise image from different way. The problem is, if I match it with the date, it will doesn't fit from the planchet, the letter, flower and the tortoise. But, if I do as the first tortoise image it didn't match with the date. What I think of it is: 1. LDS, so the date has move down. 2. It's some kind double struck on planchet? Any thought from all of you, to make it more clear and make senses what exactly happened to our tortoise friends? Solo

Extreme corrosion, and possibly fire damage that bubbles the surface.

Make sense Mr. jacrispies.
One of Extreme damage or corrosion is by the heat. Bronze material had a fast reaction on heat and chemical.
