Thank you for including me in discussions. I have collected 1976 Bicentennial Quarters for years. I have one with arcs to the left and right of face. Maybe a roller mark? Also has similar on opposite side.

First off. If the affected area is incuse (Lower than the fields) then it is probably Damage.

If it raised then it might be a die issue. But incuse marks are 99% of the time, are damage to the coin.
But there are other reasons. Look forward to see what you have.
