A good start - congrats!
Almost all US Presidents have appeared on a US coin thanks to the Presidential $! coin series; these will all have to be added to your list.
The 1937 Roanoke Colony Memorial half dollar does include Virginia Dare, but it also features her mother Elinor/Eleanor Dare.
It appears your list is focused on US commemorative coins, but don't forget the standard circulation coinage portraits of Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Benjamin Franklin, John F. Kennedy, Dwight D. Eisenhower and Sacagawea plus the other people who have appeared on $1 coins of the Native American series..
I would run through the modern commemorative coin portraits again, there are more than you've listed.
I encourage you to keep working to refine your list! Still some work to be done, but a good start!

This is indeed a good start. It would be a fun addition to identify those who were living at the time of their appearance on a coin. There are a few from the classic commemorative series.

A few more individuals who appear on coins of the classic era US commemorative series:
- William McKinley (1903 Louisiana Purchase Exposition, 1916-17 McKinley Memorial) - Chief Black Fish (1934-38 Daniel Boone Birth Bicentennial) - Stephen F. Austin (1934-38 Texas Independence Centennial) - Sam Houston (1934-38 Texas Independence Centennial)
If I could make a suggestion...
I believe your list would be a bit more user-friendly if you divided the names into categories and arranged all of the individuals within each category. For example:
Categories:
1) US Circulation Coins 2) US Classic Commemorative Coins 3) US Modern Commemorative Coins 4) Presidential $1 Series 5) Native American $1 Series 6) Statehood & Territories Quarters Series 7) American Innovation $1 Series 8) American Women Quarters Series
There are many individuals incorporated into the designs of US coins, and it's easy to overlook some (IMO) if they are not divided into manageable chunks. Some folks (e.g. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln) would be included in multiple categories, but I believe this would aid in quick lookup/identification.

That's a good call commems. Breaking them up into manageable categories and even possibly listing the coin they appeared on would be awesome. Really cool idea for a list Mr. Bacon.

You have Teddy Roosevelt on your list. Are you referring to the Dollar Presidential set? If not, what other coin is he on?

Quote: You have Teddy Roosevelt on your list. Are you referring to the Dollar Presidential set? If not, what other coin is he on? I'm not sure if this is the coin the OP intended, but the ATB series includes a Theodore Roosevelt National Park quarter, which features Teddy Roosevelt on his horse. (I wonder which other people appear on ATB Quarters. Are there any on State Quarters?) Incidentally, Sacagawea appears with her son Jean-Baptiste Charbonneau.
