TobyJ Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 1273 Posts	Posted 08/29/2022 4:24 pm I just read through all the comments hoping that the most recent post to resurrect this would be showing it slabbed and getting a straight 'authentic' grade from PCGS or NGC thus throwing a real spanner in the works. Anyway, in this case, I'm sure it is a fake due to all the reasons mentioned, and if you compare it to authentic examples you can see why. Report this Post to the Staff

I hope you sold this to them before you knew it was a counterfeit otherwise shame on you for ripping them off . in fact whether you knew or not you need to go back to them and give them their money back. Young, Early American Coppers (EAC), says both the obverse and reverse are wrong for the date. He even had a couple of them in his collection he calls The Dark Side. Report this Post to the Staff
