Hi! I'm still very new to coin collecting and what not and I found this nickel that I almost brushed off as a scratch or 2 but it has what looks to be an 11 under the last A in Canada. It seems too aligned and straight to be just a scratch and not wanting to miss out on a possible valuable nickel, I came here instead for some help!

Hi KamiDino and welcome to this forum.

Based on the photos you have I will have to say that something gouged the dime. This happened after the coin was minted (Post Mint Damage) and is not a Mint Error.

It may have made contact with the reeding of another coin
but definitely not an error.

If you look closely, you can see a 3rd very weak mark like the first 2, I think this could have been marked up by the edge of a reeded coin. I'm curious if this is the same thickness of a quarter.
