Die Chips are not considered errors.
They are just part of the minting process and quite common.

Not an error just a die event. Some people save them, this one is called a skirted R.

In the 1969 edition of "THE CLASSIFICATION AND VALUE OF ERRORS ON THE Lincoln Cent" by Jean Cohen she listed this error as "CLOGGED LETTERS", the 60D has over 100 listings. The die chip on the "R" in LIBERTY has been nicknamed skirted R.
