I found this today looking through my father-in-law's coin jar. This was the only silver coin in the jar and appears to be ODV-007 Broken S in the designers initials. I saw this listed as a reverse design variety on variety vista but don't think it adds any premium to the coin. Anyway... fun to find.

That is the designers initials. The mint mark (if there was one minted in San Francisco) it would have been on the reverse. But there was no S mint dime in 1959.
From 1956 to 1967 There was no 'S' minted dime. then in 1968 San Francisco started minting Proof only coins.

Ohh.. ok, I didn't know of this error, I thought he thought it was the s mm. my mistake. I was working outside all day long and I'm a bit hot an tired at this point. 113 degrees and a blast furnace of a westerly wind takes it's toll. plus deciding to cook on the BBQ didn't help (but sure tasted good)

Nice find, but you're right, little or no premium. Still nice to come across.
