1959 Roosevelt Dime "broken S"

lawest Pillar of the Community United States 1998 Posts	Posted 06/11/2022 7:24 pm I found this today looking through my father-in-law's coin jar. This was the only silver coin in the jar and appears to be ODV-007 Broken S in the designers initials. I saw this listed as a reverse design variety on variety vista but don't think it adds any premium to the coin. Anyway... fun to find. Report this Post to the Staff

But there was no S mint dime in 1959. From 1956 to 1967 There was no 'S' minted dime. then in 1968 San Francisco started minting Proof only coins. Collecting since 1972. I was working outside all day long and I'm a bit hot an tired at this point. 113 degrees and a blast furnace of a westerly wind takes it's toll. plus deciding to cook on the BBQ didn't help (but sure tasted good) Collecting since 1972.
