fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3662 Posts	Posted 06/12/2022 2:42 pm Mismatched die states, likely MDS obverse, LDS reverse. Some evident clashing, especially the Indian's chin/EPU and second feather/head-"U" of UNITED. Wear makes it tough to separate die polishing from circulation wear. Overall, a fairly typical 1924-S, with a little bit better strike than most (the full rachis and calamus are visible on the second feather). No major problems. It's close to VF, but just short. Later die state was hiding some sharpness on this one from the get go. I'm at F12 on this one , could see the argument for a +/- grade either way. Report this Post to the Staff
