Hello, I'll try to get right to the point. This quarter was in a discussion already coinfirming the die cracks. As I gander over this coin again, I notice another die crack on the reverse. It is exactly in the same spot and runs in the same direction as the obverse spike head die crack. It matches with it. Just on the opposite side. Beings that its two different dies. That would mean that those dies had the exact same crack just opposite each other. I'm thinking there is more to it. But the pictures don't lie. Or maybe they tell a different story than what I am seeing.

Well close the the 2 are not at the same angle. It is possible that there was some stress from a previous strike that broke both dies in that location. But I do not think that they are directly related to each other.

Probably damage to the outside edge of the coin. The push in on the reed area will make the rim rise, but all it is, is damage on the coin.

You should have just added your additional thoughts on to your original posting. I agree, just damage.
