Sorry, not a "guy" but this looks to me to be some sort of environmental or chemical exposure/corrosion/damage, post mint for sure. Certainly no extra value here.
How can you tell a coin that was dipped in acid: 1. The weight will be reduced. The width and height will also be reduced.
2. The surface will look real rough.
