Nice close-up image, maybe a little too close, I think I can see a few atoms moving about in there. By that, the field in the loop of the 3 is so rough, I can't see anything else.
This coin has seen a tough time doing the work it was intended for. A nice 40% silver war time nickel.

your last image is much better, thanks - sometimes getting in too close is just as bad as being too far away.
But at the end of the day for this coin - no overdate, sorry.
