1981 Lincoln Penny Possible Error?

Hello Folks! First time posting. I'm happy to be here! Apologies if I have made any mistakes.
I have this 1981 Lincoln Penny with what looks like a possible mint error. ( I'm still struggling with photos and uploading.) The error is on the date mark attached to the number 8 and extends south to the end of the coin. The line is raised and appears to have a cut line to the left. Not sure what I am looking at. Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you. There are also marks on Lincoln's nose and beard.

That is a deep scratch on the coin. what we call PMD or Post mint damage.

@win, first welcome to CCF. Second, this pic is just fine and well above average for a first post. Lastly, I agree with the above that the displaced metal on your coin shows that this is just a deep scratch of some sort rather than a mint error.
