Has anyone tried these albums before? Here's a link to the store that sells them.

The prices seem pretty good. I was thinking of getting the Lincoln Cent album.

I have heard them mentioned here before, but I have never seen one in person.

The Coin Collector Albums are better than the Dansco Albums
A pretty bold statement on the website, but since I have never seen one so I should refrain from further comment!

I had never heard of them either. I think in the end it comes down to can they be trusted when none of know who they are? Yes to get a pack of albums at those prices is quite a deal in my opinion compared to 20 or 30 dollars each. I don't think it would hurt to give them a try. Maybe I will actually at some point. I am all for saving a little money these days!

thanks for the link!!

Ditto...I have never heard of them and would be careful what you put in them. There doesn't seem to be any long-term data on them. This is from their website.... For being the best selling, seems like no one has heard of them.

The Coin Collector albums are the best selling Coin Albums on the market. The Coin Collector Albums are better than the Dansco Albums, and at a fraction of the cost.

I have a few of these albums and think they are great. I'd say similar to Dansco, but wouldn't go so far as to say they are better than Dansco. I personally like Danscos more because the color of Danscos are more appealing to me.

If they have a good price on their albums, I'd endorse buying an album from them.

I bought one of these for my son to collect State Quarters in.

They are pretty nice, but if you are spending a decent amount on the coins to go into an album, I like the Danscos better.

For those who like the Danscos better, what specifically did you like better? Do the Danscos feels more durable? Are the coin holes more round?

Lately due to the State Quarters and the baby sized dollars there is also a flood of albums, folders, books and on and on and on. Even more web sites, coin forums and who could forget those fantastic, wonderful, economical TV adds for coins. Last statement made during my second Martini.
Prior to starting a collection with an album you may want to find out a few things. Of course if someone says better than Dansco, how could you beat that? I suggest anyone prior to buying those find out if there are others from that organization. And just how many. Sure would be a shame to have a pile of all different types of Albums. Might not make a difference to some but for me I like all my Albums to look the same.
Another thing is how flexible are those. By that I mean could you order additional pages? Could you order addtional plastic slides if one of yours gets damaged? Are the pages removable? What color are they? Some like Dansco and many others like me prefer Whitman. They are so common you can find one for any coins you want to collect.

I never heard of them either. I use all Littleton Coin Albums. I like them the best out of all the albums I have tried, plus they fit very nice on the selves in my safe.
