Hi all,
Your help is needed. I don't understand the different types of doubling. Apparently Machine Doubling is not an error. What type of doubling is this on the mouth and chin, and the right side legend and date?
And apologies for the lighting on the coin. Thanks in advance.

I have just finished looking through an excellent article here by Coop. However, I will have to do some more study of this coin comparing it to a normal strike to observe the reduction in size of the devices.
Loving it.

That's fairly mild as far as 'doubling' goes but interesting,i don't think it has been hit twice, perhaps a slight movement in the Obverse Die as it struck.
Others on here will know more thou.

Great Pics.

Cheers Basil.
Always appreciate your feedback.
I'm not sure about the pics, I can't get the lighting right.
The coin looks nothing like that in the hand.
