Hi! I'm a novice. I collect interesting (to me) coins I run across. I received this quarter with change from my chick fil a. I can't tell if it's a misprint? Or damage? This coin has lived a rough 39 years no doubt. Any help is appreciated.

Note the area over OF on the obverse. Note the rim bulges outwards there. It is post strike damage from a contact mark on the reverse rim area.
