Hello I am new to posting on this forum so thanks for having me. I recently found a 1955s dime that I think has double lips I had the image zoomed in and just happened to notice the lips looked doubled and after searching for info I found very little info about it or possible value. Can anyone help me with any info?

Machine doubling. Note the 'L' on Liberty is showing the same thing. Not a dime variety. The devices on the motto appear larger, but is probably flattening from vending machines through the years. Still a silver melt coin.

I have a second one I haven't put under the microscope that appears to be more pronounced than this one with lips forehead and nose and nothing on liberty. I wasn't talking about the lettering. I will try to post the other dime after work. Both dimes are from the same obw of 55s'

Make sure your photos of full of the entire coin face, both sides, and sharp close ups of areas of interest.

Okay, I looked at the other dime under scope and saw nothing. Not sure what I saw with magnifying glass. I am posting full front and back and a slightly different zoomed view. Not sure it helps or not. Thanks for the welcome and links. I'm relatively new to error searching. Best find has been 1988-D wide am/ initials error

Wide AM is normal, however the error is in the initials. I no longer have the penny but I will post photos of it FS901
