I agree that good close-ups would help, but at the moment, this looks most like Machine Doubling to me.

This sure looks like MD to me. You are pointing at devices from all kinds of different angles and directions - true doubling would not be like that. For an example have a look at the 1955 doubled die Lincoln Cent.

The DDO on these are on the earlobe and the Motto devices. Not on that area. You are looking at the outside edges of the devices, where Machine Doubling happens.
