Full, large and sharp (emphasis on large and sharp) pics of the obverse and reverse are customarily posted to provide the best possible assessment. Wrekkdd Pillar of the Community Canada 3328 Posts	Posted 07/11/2022 09:06 am I feel like most zinc cents are dead/dying before they even reach the banks. Leave a mint state zinc cent in damp environment for a few years and without even being damaged the coin will eat away at it self. I understand why they switched to zinc but from a numismatic standpoint it was a horrible idea not to mention so many zinc cents disappear over time because they just rot away. 1.5b mintage and after 10-15 years I bet there is less then 50m in collectable gem state with no zinc issues.
