Yes John1, probably cleaned. It came together with a $10 indian head. But I choose the coronet instead, since it appeals much more to me.

The weight should be 16.7 grams, within 0.1 gram. It is a bullion grade coin and should be full weight for the price paid. Did you buy it from a reputable coin dealer?

I'd call it a cleaned AU. Price paid a bit on the high side.
