Okay I see about the top part of the letters and shape. So any idea whats with thr serif at the bottom? doesn't show on any other varieties that I see but 006?

Looks like a plating issue,bubble or solid dust.

looking at your first image - way too pixelated, (but look pretty) I can see what you think is a serif, but it is too long (it extends too far below the letter). Probably a plating bubble as stated above.
