Hello veterans, I am somewhat of a newbie with a new obsession of coin collecting.

While coin hunting quarters I ran across a beautiful MS65-MS67 2019W N. Mariana Islands Quarter.

While looking at the reverse, I noticed Mechanical Doubling on the left side. I then looked at the date and noticed a rotated two with doubling in the date.

I have never seen this type of error/variety before and wanted to get some opinions. I will be sending this out for grading, and wanted to put it out there for critique as this will be my first coin sending for grading.

Thanks ahead!

I have with John on this. It is possible that the die was wearin out and ready to be retired. If this is DDD ( Die Deterioration Doubling). Which will show a skewing of the devices towards the rim.

Machine doubling, certainly not worth sending out to be graded (not cost effective).
Always show us your entire coin, both sides.

to the CCF!

Thanks for all the welcomes and the feedback. Glad to have found this community.

Being honest, the truth hurts with coins sometimes, more often than not. Based upon consensus, It may not make sense to grade this coin. disappointed.

When I get ready to list on ebay, I will post full pics in this post. Thanks again for all of your thoughts and time. I can see myself frequenting this community.

Looks like a bounce altered the devices post strike. Take a normal coin and made a side by side with this coin close up areas of the date and see if they are taller, or if the hop of the die smeared the devices a bit. The DDO's on the date don't look like your coins example:

The other devices should also be affect if it were a doubled die:

Note the distortion on doubled dies.
