Hmm not sure I agree with this being MD, especially on the P mintmark. I see that there are some 92 different RPMs for the 1945-P on varietyvista.

Habib Alimohamma, maybe check out VV's 026. The mm location looks pretty good as does the RPM. LINK http://www.varietyvista.com/05%20JN...5PRPM026.htm

Check 018 for the S mm. LINK http://www.varietyvista.com/05%20JN...5SRPM018.htm

Second look, maybe RPM's but could use better close-ups to tell for sure. The P mm kinda looks flat and shelflike?

I agree but so do many of the listed RPM's. Puts me in mind of many of the modern, zincoln RPM's. Hard for me to tell the difference, much of the time....

Looks like MD( Machine Doubling) to me. Still 35% silver though
EDIT: The 45-P looks like one

Both are for sure RPMs. Look at that huge split lower serif on the S.

Checkout 1945-S RPM-018: http://www.varietyvista.com/05%20JN...5SRPM018.htm

The 'S' might be a tiled RPM. Note the lower serif. They can be machine doubled and a variety. If the other devices on the coin are showing Machine Doubling, then that could confirm both happening.

Me too! Now that you have pointed it out though, that serif is wicked split.
