Had question on this Eisenhower dollar. The mint mark looks off to me. I tried to get the best pics I could...thanks

From the photo supplied, I would say the bottom of the S mm has
taken a hit which flattened it. Better photos might say otherwise.

Nice looking Ike.

The mint mark looks okay to me. The S punch used by the Mint got progressivley worse (filled) until they created a new one in 1979 (and again in 1981).

Too bad they didn't continue the Ike until at least 79 (I would have loved to have the 2 varieties to go along with all the others)

That would have filled up the Dansco 8176 perfectly then... 1979, 1979-D, 1979-S Proof T1, 1979-S Proof T2 in the last four holes.
