Not sure why this penny is this color? I've never seen anything even seen anything close to this before.

copper can take on many different hues at it gets a patina. things like humidity, temperature, and other environmental conditions can effect the color

Nope. It is worth about 25 cents, if you bought it at a local coin shop.

Definitely not, colour difference is not an error. You would be spending wasted money on a coin worth 1 cent.
The only time a coin is worth grading (value wise anyway) is if it is worth about $150.00 or more.

Common color. Shows light circulation and some spotting. Not worth grading. At any of the three coin shops I frequent, the coin as pictured would be worth one cent.

I'm assuming you haven't seen many 95% copper Lincolns .That's the color they are supposed to be for a red unc . Yes much different than the crappy zincolns .
