1981 D Penny Can't See Liberty

Hi, I have this 1981d penny it seems to have several errors and I'm pretty sure I have me something here look at neck seems the beard goes all the way down there you can see hair in neck the d looks double and you can't even make out the word liberty well it looks like several errors through out the penny please help I'm new to this.

The coin seem to show acid deterioration. The texture of the coin show this, characteristic.

Depending on weight,it is either heat damage or acid damage. I think it is heat (blow torch) damage.

Whichever it is, it happened after it was struck so it is PMD.

Your CENT looks as if it have taken a bath in acid. Practice your close up photos as they are terribly out of focus.

I feel the weight will be normal and it was altered by heat. If it were reduced by acid, then it will be under weight. First clue for acid reduction is the rim missing on the coin. This one looks like a full rim. So I'm thinking this coin will be in the 3.10 grams weight range.

I was thinking acid dipped at first but Coop makes a good point about the full rims on this one.

Acid would show on the rims for the amount of obv/rev damage showing.

Hopefully, the OP gives us the weight.
