One of my customers handed my manager Three Cents as part of her payment at the register. He saw that one of them was a wheatie and set it aside for me. It's a 1953 S in F condition! WAY cool! We never see S mint coins in this neck of the woods, much less ones that are over 50 years old!

Just thought I would share the story....no biggie.

I received a 1909VDB in AU back in 1986...I received a 1925S about ten years ago. Those are my oldest wheat finds in change.

Roll searching is a different story. Oldest received there was an 1879 indian and an 1863 CWT.

I got a 1953 in change the other day, and immediately segregated it in the change pocket of my jeans so I wouldn't accidentally spend it. Today, I was reminded of its' existence when I pulled it from the bottom of the washer.

SuperDave, I'm glad I'm not alone! I can't tell you how many wheat cents have gone through my washer, poor things.
