I'm no expert on American coinage;
but when did 1985 -1989 Quarters start bing made of "Copper"

clad maybe but they don't look copper to me!

Check out all the items for sale by the seller that jgfindring links to.

How come the 1984 and 1989 quarters are only worth $100 when the rest are worth $500? Those two must be on sale?

He's actually dropping his prices - when I first found him, the individual "first" quarters were $1000 each. By the time I figured out how to post the link, some were revised down to $500. Now I guess he's dropping them to $100. But the shipping is still free.
