Thanks for your time. I'm new to this forum and was just wondering if anyone could provide me with some history on this coin and possibly the rarity of it. Thank you!

Your Civil War token is known as MI 960-B, variety 2a
It has an R-4 rarity listing meaning 250-500 examples known.
I have no idea of value, I have not purchased an individual token in the last 30 years and do not track their value.

Adding to jfransch's reply, it's listed on page 209 of the Fuld CW Store card second edition book, which I highly recommend if you collect these (not to be confused with the CW Tokens book by Fuld). This one would not be a surprise selling for around $30.00 in the grade.
