having gone through three bank boxes of cents, and finding about 30 wheat's, and several coin of interest (to me - at least), I have a few questions. here is the first of probably several questions, and perhaps odd cents. I'm sure I am not "discovering" anything that hasn't already been found but - on this coin the strike is off center enough that the rim is more than double thickness - in front of Lincolns image, and not existent from about 6:00 bottom to about to "in" in "IN GOD -". is this, of any interest, or additional value. comments are appreciated. thanks.

Is the reverse normal? If so it is called a MAD (Miss Aligned Die)coin. If the reverse looks like the obverse it could be an off center strike. But the first case is of less value until the devices fall off the edge of the coin. Nice look to it though.

Sounds like a MAD then. Still one to keep as they are usually not that strong.

Hey, Coop. In the top row of Three Cents, the one on the right shows a die attrition error from 9:00 to 12:00.

If you do, my guess is that it's from 1983.
