Hi all,

Before Christmas, I posted my first post on the Modern Coin Forum and wrote about some of my finds in the many years of retail (along with a couple shots of some of my favorite coins and a couple shots that make a couple of you envious...) Many of you requested that I post some pics and I mentioned that it would probably be after the new year. We here we are and here we go:

Here is a few of the pics. Hopefully will have more to post in the near future. Please comment on the pics. Give me your opinions regarding the coins and what your thoughts are (damaged, fraudulent, real, value, etc.).

Thanks,
Rob

1098 Nickel.... Not sure why this image is blurry?
1101 Nice clipped Quarter with Blakesley affect. Premium for this.
1109 & 1110 A coin from a Good luck charm with the edges distorted because of the pressing it into the holder. Probably would have been worth more in the holder. Now it is just a damaged Cent
1113 & 1114 The thinner Cent was acid dipped reducing the thickness/weight/circumference of the coin. The one on the left is normal 1 Cent. The other one was attempting to make a dime out of it.
1115 Two dryer Cents. Tumbled till they made the rims wider because of the flattening of the profile. Damaged
1125 slab (unknown)
11241 : 1999 Silver proof sets. 18 if I counted right. Nice value for these for that year.

that's a nice clip on the Oregon quarter!

Btw, with all those 1999 proof sets, be sure to check for the LMC proof Close AM:

Hi,

I had 80 of the 1999 sets at one point... Purchased them for 40.00 ea. I thought I had overpayed back then... Will have`to check the sets for the Close AM...wish I had known this a few years back.

1125 is a BU roll of 1944 merc dimes

1098 is a 100% struck through obverse PCGS MS-64. It looks like that in person, 11001 is the slab info.

1113 1114 1115 - very interesting. will still keep them

The close-AM 1999S proof cents are only known to be in the clad set, not the silver set.
