Remember 99% of incuse marks on coins come from damage in circulation/intentional damage. The Highest devices get hit more often than the fields. Even incuse devices can be altered by coin contact: Damage to a coin on a variety will lower the value of a coin, if sever as much as 90%. Can even become just a damaged coin to be spent.
