@pris, not damage to the coin, but rather evidence of a damaged die used to strike this coin—that is a die crack.

nice die crack. Die cracks are fairly common. these of this size(small) won't bring in much of a premium.

Does everything have to come down to this? If profit is your goal, you'll most likely never get there. Rather than answer this same question in each one of your posts, if you want realistic values for similar coins, check ebay's sold listings.

Prisbrey1...let me answer your question. Your coin while interesting doesn't have a high value because the demand is not high. There are relatively few collector's out there competing for this type of error. It is not something you should bank on as a growing investment. Coin collecting is a hobby...enjoy it. Maybe put together a small collection of Lincoln Cent die breaks.

with Kopper Ken/KK. It's a hobby for most people.
Some do it to make some money but they spend a lot of ( hours and money a day every day.)
I agree with your wondering about value of something whatever it would be.
Some collectors of this hobby have a beautiful valuable collection which they've paid for over time. I'm pretty sure they wonder about the value.
It'll take time but you'll get the hang of it. Check ebay for what people (sold) their coin for not what people are asking for.
Remember it's a hobby and we're here to try and help answer your questions about a coin but maybe not the value.
Thanks for sharing your coins and questions.
