"Capital Plastics" is the company that makes the frames.
The hard part is to make sure you get the correct frame for the year!
70s had a big dollar coin (Ike)
79-81 had a small dollar coin,
82+ didn't have any dollar coins,
99+ have 5 quarters each year,
04-05 have two nickels each year,
08+ have 4
Presidential dollars,
and so on....
So if you're thinking you'll just get a few 'Birth Year Frames' and fill them up, you might have to back up a bit. Make sure you know how many coins are in a mint/proof set of the particular year so that you can buy the appropriate frame.
I think either proof or BU would be appropriate. I personally think proofs are prettier. Keep in mind that if you're giving this to a child, the set will one day be opened and the coins will get fingerprints on them and so on...
