Hey guys, I'm new to collecting coins. I've gotten the gist of the errors when the coin doesn't have much wear and tear. This one has me stumped I feel like there is a doubling error or something going on other than typical wear on it. This is my first time posting so I apologize in advance if my pictures aren't up to par. Any help would would appreciate.

Your cent is not any type of an error. This could not have
happened during the striking of the coin.
It is some sort of environmental corrosion.

Where are you seeing doubling? Please post close up of that area.

I see a significant amount of post-strike damage on the obverse--hits/dings/gouges. Appears to be a 'face-down' road rash coin.

Ya definitly has some wear on it. Where I thought I seen doubling was in libery and in the date and the D. I took a couple more close up and also inverted the images.

Looks like all PMD to me. Looks like you will need to improve your photos a bit. The better the photos you post the better we can help you.

I believe that any error you are seeing was manifested during damage that occurred after minting ( PMD).

Please, no more photo for this coin. We have seen enough. Just post mint damage.
