Hey Everyone!
I found this quarter and thought it was interesting. I believe it's caused because of over polishing. It reminds me of the bare belly Canadian nickel as well as a similar Sacagawea dollar I posted about previously: http://goccf.com/t/412984

Either way, it's a fun coin.

Hey John.
I wondered that exact same thing myself. Probably not too surprisingly, the over polishing vs. Feeder Finger Damage debate was the same conversation that occurred for the Sacagawea coin from the link I posted. Someone else might know the common directionality of Feeder Finger Damage on these coins and whether the marks on this coin matches.

Yes, that's FFD. That's the direction. Sounds like a lot of this going on with the new quarters.
