Yeah, it's a tricky period...

Last time for the 1460s we had a lot of help from EddieDiz (with their Hungarian denars), and the 1450s were all over the place (even I got to chip in with 1452).

I believe EddieDiz had been last active as recently as this week, though they hadn't posted since December.

Great to see you EddieDiz. I'm a newbie to these games and it will be good to have things moving through the speed bumps.

Upcoming situation, 1463 to 1413.
(After that we're entering the territory of @ttkoo's Bahmani coinage, and the rest of the catch-up would be either easy if they do show up or basically impossible if they don't.)

I thought that I had this redone a few months ago (while the 6th edition wasn't past 1413 yet), but it turns out I didn't actually cover most of this period at the time, so the data could be significantly out of date in a few places...

1463 - EddieDiz, Spence, tdziemia
1462 - EddieDiz
1461 - EddieDiz
1460 - bd251
1459 - Spence
1458 - Spence, ttkoo
1457 - Spence
1456 - Spence
1455 - bd251, EddieDiz; Spence?
1454 - Spence
1453 - bd251
1452 - january1may
1451 - bd251
1450 - bd251, Spence, tdziemia
1449 - Spence
1448 - Spence, ttkoo
1447 - Spence
1446 - EddieDiz, JohnConduitt
1445 - bd251; Spence?
1444 - bd251, EddieDiz, Spence, tdziemia
1443 - bd251, EddieDiz, Spence, tdziemia
1442 - EddieDiz
1441 - EddieDiz, Spence
1440 - EddieDiz, tdziemia, ttkoo
1439 - bd251, EddieDiz, Spence
1438 - EddieDiz, Spence, tdziemia
1437 - EddieDiz, Spence
1436 - EddieDiz
1435 - bd251
1434 - EddieDiz; Spence?
1433 - bd251, EddieDiz
1432 - Spence
1431 - Spence
1430 - bd251
1429 - bd251, Spence
1428 - Spence, tdziemia
1427 - Spence, tdziemia
1426 - Spence
1425 - bd251
1424 - bd251
1423 - bd251, Spence; tdziemia?
1422 - Spence
1421 - Spence
1420 - bd251, Spence
1419 - Spence, tdziemia
1418 - bd251
1417 - bd251, Spence
1416 - bd251
1415 - ttkoo
1414 - erafjel
1413 - erafjel

...and (as I said) starting with 1412 it's a nearly straight run of ttkoo's Bahmani tankas interspersed with Spence's Aachen groschens (with the occasional Polish contribution from tdziemia), expected to continue without gaps into some yet-unknown point in the 1390s.

Note that I don't have a lot of data on bd251's more recent acquisitions and they might have a few more dates in that range that I don't happen to know about.

I think the only ones I have that aren't on that list are AH 863 (1459) and AH 853 (1449).

This Kreuzer from the Austria Duchy of Wiener-Neustadt is dated 1459 AD. I have attributed it as Levinson IV-7.

Thank you for the update!

The Sixth is going to enter the 13th century tomorrow! A milestone worth celebration!

Meanwhile, the Seventh soldiers on.

Remember two things.

First, we are going backward in time and second, 1400 is the last year of the 13th century; 1401 was the first year of the 14th.

There was no year zero.

Nope - 1400 is the last year of the 14th century and 1401 is the first year of the 15th. There was no century zero either

I hope we do get to the actual 13th century eventually - I suspect either in this edition or the next one! But there's a loooong way to go until there.
