I have a silver quarter but I am not sure if the strike is strong enough to be considered a type C reverse? The type A and the type C look so completely similar to me its hard to tell them apart.
If this coin is indeed a type C reverse would it be worth the cost of grading or has coin been through too much to make it worth the effort/cost?
EDIT: Yes this coin is a silver and not a clad and has the correct weight.
Also @coop could you please provide your amazing images of the business strike quarters verses the special strikes in the 4 categories like you did for my post about the nickels? The comparison pics of the dimes and pennies would be very much appreciated as well.
I know now that the special strikes are supposed to have a more golden satin-y surface so I am not deluding myself on this one especially since my coin has a D mint mark which I don't believe any of the special strikes have been found to have one but I would like to have the comparison of the 4 images all together so I can better compare my future coins. Thank you!
