ok lets try this again on my 1939 nickel on the reverse is there doubling on monticello can anyone see what I see am I even getting close I'm looking at the top of the letters o,n,t those letters are where I'm seeing the doubling the most I see it throughout monticello am I even looking at the right stuff

It does not look like the DDR to me, it would look like this, my own 1939 specimen:

No, I wish. The image is from PCGS. I use images from there as they are very large and can show small details a lot more. They are sometimes as large as 6K pixels wide, and I even make them ever larger when I need to see an even close shot.

The last two images are not the OP's coins. The last two images are the DDR example in different die states. The OP's coin is not a DDR, but a senior die with circulation flattening.

Not the DDR.

Only the first two images are of the OP's coin and they aren't showing any doubling.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
