Hello everyone, I tried to search for other pennies with the same possible error, but I couldn't find any! What do you guys think of the last 8 in 1988? I checked both side and it seems like the only thing that may be doubled is that last 8, so is it possible?

Appears to be Die Deterioration doubling--not uncommon with zinc core Lincoln cents--especially through the 80s and 90s.

Gotcha, meaning it's not worth extra value or getting it graded huh?

No extra value other than the condition of the coin it self.

Looks like its most likely Die Deterioration Doubling, see the 8 in the photo here https://www.error-ref.com/die-deter...on-doubling/

You can look for an 88 with reverse of 89 https://www.error-ref.com/transitio...rse-of-1989/

or the rare1988 DDO fs-101 with doubling on the ear
