So since I started coin collecting, I have been getting all my rolls from CBA (Armaguard) and I have had mixed fortunes, you could call it.
For example, a few weeks back I got $100 of 20c Armaguard rolls, and I got quite a few finds (namely two NCLT, one FLORIN from NEW ZEALAND, and a Vic CoF). But the other day when I got the same amount of rolls, nothing, except a few NZs which I dumped into a box.
I have seen a lot of opinions online over Prosegur or Armaguard. Some say that Prosegur has a lot more commemorative, whereas some say otherwise. That being said, in your honest opinion, which company is best?

They are both the same. You get 5c coins in the $2 rolls/ bags from both companies. We get them from both companies just to make sure that if one company has a new release quicker than another you have a better chance of getting the new releases. We dump the checked coins in a different town to not get the same ones back.

I mark the 1966 20c coins and the 2000 $1 coins. Haven't had any re-surface so far.

We also mark the 1966 20c coins as well. Have had a couple back over the last 10 years.

You're best option is to go in bank and ask for rolls but if you know a bank manager that's a friend then you can have choice of both new and old coins. This is what I do.

Don't get me started on Prosegur. http://goccf.com/t/411413Quote: I mark the 1966 20c coins and the 2000 $1 coins. Quote: We also mark the 1966 20c coins as well. So which one of you marks their 1966 20c coins like this :

That looks more like someone used a coin as a keyring. How do people get away with that without violating the Currency Act?
Anyway, I've seen a few Chubb security rolls somewhere, but oddly enough, they don't get dispensed by the banks. Are there even any banks that dispense them?

I've never paid much attention to what I get - I think Westpac changed in the last few years but I haven't seen any difference in what I get - I have good days and bad days.

I remember seeing a Chubb van outside a CBA branch a while back though ...

Any other noodlers noticed that banks that use Armaguard have recently been stocking their coin machines with 50 cent rolls wrapped in Prosegur wrappers turned inside out?

Perhaps as a prelude to the merger . . .

Can anyone tell me where coins are rolled for Armaguard? How many coin rolling centres are there? I am curious about the likelihood of getting the same coins back after noodling them.
A teller once told me that I was wasting my time getting bags of coins each week as they were the same coins going around in a circle. I'm pleased to say that it has not been a waste of time. I get plenty of "keepers" each week. I wonder how big the catchment areas are for each coin rolling centre. Does anyone know?
