Gonna need a little help from the folks who know about the metal issues for Lincoln cents to understand this one. Streak extends onto rim to the east so it is full planchet, and seems to be a brassy color where the silver colored metal has worn off or for whatever reason is missing. All comments appreciated.

An unmixed globule of tin or zinc can be responsible for the gray band that crosses the obverse face such as in the photo a 1948 cent in the link below. This is an intrinsic metallic inclusion. Other types of improper alloy mix errors look different. In the case of a copper-alloy cent with too much tin or zinc, this will result in a brassy color. Alternatively, the constituent metals can be in the right proportions but poorly mixed. This will leave the coin with light and dark bands. Of course, the two mistakes can occur together. A woodie is an improper alloy mix for example and more commonly is the one talked about with improper alloy mixes. https://www.error-ref.com/improper-alloy-mix/ If its not that it could be something after minting on the surface that just happens to have a similar appearance.

Neat, Sure looks like the 'intrinsic metallic inclusion" error but I'm anxious to see what others say.

Looks like some minor clash marks on obverse too.

This looks to be what is left of a intrinsic metallic inclusion that laminated away pre-strike. A slight void in a planchet will strike out just fine and this example shows the aftermath of struck out lamination striations.
Very cool TB !

Or thin tape across the coin, that is slowly wearing off. The last image shows it looks like it is going away with circulation.
