price seems reasonable to me. average surfaces. upper end of VF. nice coin.

fun fact about this die variety - the reverse die for this piece was used to strike the 1805 C-1. the Die Deterioration indicates that striking alternated between 1804 and 1805 dated coins. this variety is generally believed to have been struck in 1805 despite bearing the date of 1804.

Wow, nice one there! Yours is a tad higher grade than my specimen in which I got really lucky and only spent 40 dollars on mine! I call a higher VF myself...

i have it at VF35. only comment is that the coin looks like it was cleaned at some point in its life but is now acceptable.
