Is it a D mint mark with something stamp over itlet me know what you'll think and what about all the dents on Lincoln check out the rim at the top over laping the word trust any info is appreciated Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/22/2022 1:43 pm "S" Mints were not started until 1968 on proof coins. During that time period the San Francisco Mint was closed. (1956-1964) Re-opened to help strike 1965-1967, 1968-S-1974-S business strike cents. and SMS 1967-1967, 1968-S forward Proof coins. So it would be impossible to be a1962-S cent.
