Thanks New1954 for the info. According to the rules, only RCM MC PLATINUM and higher have access to Masters Club Exclusive Coins. Do dealers get these for their best customers to purchase? With that design, like the original 1997 the Flying Loon, will that coin really be one to get? I guess I'll have to wait to see it. Edit : Already found a listing on ebay. Not a bad looking coin, but I like just about everything with selective gold plating.

Earlier than usual release of the annual Renewed Silver Dollar series, Usually comes out in october.
Dealers no longer sell Masters Club coins to its customers. Canadian Coin & Currency used to offer these coin to their customers but has not do so for several years,

This is the 1997 Specimen Flying Loon the new MC coin is commemorating.

IMO. the Mint lost its way with this series. It had an opportunity to re-introduce a series of classic Silver Dollar designs to a new collecting generation, but, instead, went down a path that includes reissues of more modern coins (even those that weren't silver in their original release). Opportunity lost! Too bad!

Interesting scenario here with the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar. I am a Master's Club Platinum Member. Several weeks ago I received the Master's Club newsletter via e-mail. In the newsletter it indicated the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar was coming in September. Tuesday night I located the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar on ebay. Someone had it posted and now I knew what it looked like. For some reason Thursday night I checked this Forum, haven't looked lately, and found the post for the Renewed Silver Dollar. When I saw this post I thought I would check the RCM website and lo and behold it was available for purchase. So I grabbed one right away. Now being a Platinum member I usually get e-mails from the Mint when I am eligible to purchase the coin. I received no e-mail on Thursday or even today. I am assuming the monthly RCM release will come this coming Tuesday in the mail. On a normal month the release comes to the top tier members on the Monday night. Being at the Platinum level I should get the email Thursday. So what happened here with the Renewed Silver Dollar? Someone at the RCM release it a week early? Was this a mistake? No e-mail indicating the coin had been released....yet? I got mine to keep the collection going.

Tender 4848, I too am MC Platinum Member. I was able to online order Thursday. On Friday morning received an email from another rep on behalf of mine who is away. Any chance you too may have received an email from another rep and just didn't notice the unfamiliar email address?

@rjlavoie I received no email from the RCM or a Rep. At present even though I am a Platinum Member I have no rep. Had one 3 or 4 years ago but haven't heard from a REP in a long time..... The bottom line here I was able to purchase the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar to keep my collection streak going at all 8 of the Renewed Silver Dollars..... Now if the RCM would only add the 1958 BC Centennial silver dollar to the list of Renewed Silver dollars would really make me happy!!!

Quote: IMO. the Mint lost its way with this series. with both sentiments above. It is as if those running the NCLT programme have lost connection with what their core clientele are looking for. I occasionally get asked for an opinion on new products about to be released, never on what products should be released or the overall frustrations with the RCM programmes. It is frustrating because individually, the RCM is capable of some amazing design and quality work but they keep reverting to old subject matter or slightly missing the target and when a new opportunity presents itself... they fail to capitalize. The RCM are the very definition of a marketing malapropism. @tender4848 100%... the demand for a 1958 reissue would be significant.
