I know these oics arent the greatest for whole coin or makong it look pretty.. I'm just curious about the marking between the corn and the top leaf. Haz anykne seen this before? Just random damage? Die gouge?

Between the corn and leaf is normal on the other side of leaf is a hit mark from something like another coin.

It does look raised to me. Thats why I'm so lost on it

Kerry, are you asking about the area above the folded leaf or between the corn and straight leaf?

Thank you for your clarity, it is hard to see from here but if you rotate the coin and see any shine then it is probably damage. If it is raised then maybe a small overlay,however, I do not see a match in that area from reverse?

Just a contact mark that shows at the same angle. If this were a double strike issue, then all of the devices would be showing this same thing on both sides of the coin. This is just coin damage to this coin.

Okay I got better light. And several angles. It does habe a raised edge. But it is from getting hit pretty good.. I really have to get one of those super bright fake sun lights think
