here is one for your grading pleasure. it was cracked from a PCGS holder and came from the collection of one of the authors of the EAC grading guide. I have PCGS and EAC grades for this piece that I will add to this post in a day or two.

large fraction variety. AU58 or MS61. I'm going with MS61. shes a beauty and it would even be more if it had a little luster or red hanging around

Wow - I love it. I hope it doesn't grade lower than an AU-58. I would like to think higher.

I don't know enough about these...but it reminds of going to a gallery with my artist daughter...somethings just catch my eye and I stand and marvel at it's beauty.

here is the coin again. I think this is a better representation of the color. This coin came out of Bill Eckbergs collection. Bill was one of the authors of the Early American Copper Grading Guide. His grading skills are highly respected. This coin is ~15th finest known for the die variety and ~20th finest know for the large fraction type.
